Bill Baun Leadership Award

The Wellness Council of Tampa Bay (WCTB) is proud to announce the Bill Baun Leadership Award. This award was created to honor the memory of Dr. Bill Baun and his numerous contributions to the worksite wellness profession for more than three decades.  As a pioneer and an exemplary leader in worksite wellness, he was best known as an author, speaker, practitioner, educator, and mentor. Dr. Bill Baun described himself as an Achiever, Maximizer, Learner, Arranger, and Activator.  He put special meaning into the phrase “Be Well” in everything he accomplished and all the people he touched.

This annual award will recognize a Worksite Wellness Professional in the Tampa Bay area who emulates Dr. Bill Baun’s outstanding leadership as a practitioner, educator, and mentor. Each year, the recipient will be invited to receive this award at the WCTB Annual Meeting in December.
